First edition of the Sustainability Workshop

Insiders at the beginning of the year 2019, Workshops at several internal LGCO were held on the theme of Sustainable Development and allowed to discuss this horizontal issue in the context of research in Management. A dozen members of LGCO already address their disciplinary research in terms of the ecological transition or social responsibility of the company.
The 19 September 2019, un workshop « SHS » a réuni une quinzaine d’enseignants-chercheurs de LERASS et du LGCO, on the subject : between externalities, risks and acceptability, SHS what inputs ecological transition and sustainable development? L & rsquo; aim was to compare their respective approaches to sustainable development and to initiate interdisciplinary collaborations. It thus appeared that the approach of LGCO, centric business, consumers and markets may usefully be associated with the axis of sustainable development LERASS, which focuses on habitat, mobility and ecocitizenship. Les échanges de cette première rencontre « SHS » serviront de point d’appui pour encourager des collaborations inter-disciplinaires, federate the Humanities and Social Sciences (SHS) University Paul Sabatier around a crucial theme, whose importance, given the climate emergency, is well established.
